lake powell was pretty laid back this year.
but that didn't mean there was any lack in the fun department.
we couldn't wait to get out on the lake & start playin'.

dad is of course the caption of the boat.
brandon's favorite thing to do is surf. he would surf all day long. no lie.
he is a fish. between the surfing, swimming, diving, sliding, & fishing, he barely got out of the water.
we found a bike rigged with noodles. the boys couldn't help themselves and had to play with it.
it was pure entertainment for at least 45 minutes.

the lake is so low and quite dangerous right now.
one of our favorite things to do each year is go to sand mountain.
unfortunately because of the water levels we couldn't make it there.
the boys tried to hike up there, but it would have been quite the hike. so they just snapped a picture.

overall, it was a great relaxing trip. filled with lots of food, sun, laughter, and maybe a few sunburns.
perfect way to end the summer.
next year brother will be home to go with us. yay!
