i know i posted the first video a few days ago but elder fisher & fawson get to email tomorrow and i'm finally getting around to posting both of them so they can see.

i'm extremely grateful for eternal families and that my family was able to be in the temple together.
i'm grateful for missionaries and the work they are doing around the world.

this day was truly the best day of my life.
i do get a little sad that you weren't there mas, but i wouldn't want you any other place than the ukraine.
your cardboard cutout was a big hit:)

and last but not least..a little note to my husband.
i love you & i'm grateful for the example you are to me.
i'm one happy girl because of you.

epic snow fail.

last saturday b & i thought it would be fun to take liv out in the fresh snow. 

we actually wanted to do it over christmas break but she was sick and not happy. 

i had high hopes of building a snowman and riding a sled behind the snowmobile in the field. 

she loved her snow outfit and was happy until we set in her the snow.

i thought she would warm up to it but i was wrong. granted it was pretty deep for her. 

b & liv are best friends. they are cuddle buddies. 

she didn't leave his side the whole time. (the whole 15 minutes we were outside)   

luckily we got a few pics before she cried and wanted to go inside for some hot chocolate. 

the picture of liv & i is pretty terrible but i LOVE the pictures of liv & b. it captures their relationship perfectly. 

maybe our next snow day will last a little longer:)

i found this quote the other day, loved it, and of course pinned it. 
last night as i was checking pinterest before bed and came across the quote again.
it's currently my favorite "inspirational quote".

the last few months i've been in a pretty bad funk.
i haven't been feeling well and the doctors can't seem to tell me whats up.
i've felt very discouraged the last few weeks.
not sure if we would ever get answers or if i just needed to learn how to deal. 

i was having a hard time finding that happiness in my life.

finally, i got into a specialist in slc. got some answers. now on track for treatment.
i feel lots better about the situation but i'm sad that i let myself get so down.

seeing this made me realize that i can choose to be happy and need to do so.
my health, work, or others around me don't determine my happiness.
from here on out i will be as happy as possible.

saturday brandon & i went to watch jack play in his first basketball game.
it was a hoot. probably the most entertaining hour of my life.
watching all the kiddo's running down the court, shooting hoops, and a few collisions was so much fun.

jack has such a good heart and is a very caring teammate.
his friend got a bloody nose. so jack went in for him. as soon as his friend sat back on the bench jack yelled from the court...in the middle of the game..."are you okay? how is your nose?!"
it was pretty cute. he is a pretty good basketball player.

he is a baller. b told him he was the next john stockton. but he didn't know who that was:)
can't wait until saturday to cheer him on again!

happy 2013!
this holiday season was pretty fantastic.
we laughed, ate lots of food, watched movies, spent time with family, & enjoyed lots of snow.
b was most excited about all the snow.
i was mostly excited to spend our first christmas as a married couple & talk to mas dawg.

with every new year comes new year's resolutions. can we just call them goals?
b&i talked and decided on a few goals we want to work on throughout the year.

-cook
-eat healthy foods
-attend the temple on a regular basis
-spend more "quality" time together

i feel like these are pretty realistic goals and something that can definitely be achieved/worked on over the year.
i'm excited to see what the new year has to bring!
